Review
ArcaniA (or Gothic 4 if you prefer) has moved on in terms of graphics and voice acting but seems to have lost some of its predecessors charm. I completed the main game in 28 hours, however there are 3 lots of collectables which I am currently getting on a re-run. Its add-on took just over 4 hours. The biggest problem with both games is that once you have defeated the main villain you cannot continue to play. This means that you have to explore each area before the final battle. There are still teleporters in each area, so if you do miss a collectable it is pretty quick to get where you need to be.
My rating is 6/10. A solid CRPG, but really needs to remove what happens at the end.

My current PC rig is a AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics @ 3.80 GHz, 64Gb of Ram, using the onboard GPU (512mb).
Next time…Who knows?!
If there is an old CRPG you would like me to review just get in touch. Between Steam, GOG and Xbox I’ll probably have it!
