What Does EPIC do for Indie authors?
Epic was created to give all indie fantasy and sci-fi authors a voice, a chance to get your books in front of readers and to provide the best and most engaging content possible.
We know that the bulk of the indie fantasy scene in particular is overrun with romance books and those titles using the genre as a way to push erotica and while we have no particular issue with those books, we wanted to give the non-romance authors and readers more of a voice and better visibility.
EPIC can be a great resource for readers and indie authors alike so we thought we’d make this article to highlight just how we can be of use to you.
What we offer
Book Reviews – Our growing team of book reviewers is one of the best around and devour books like there’s no tomorrow! A book review on EPIC gets shared across our social media channels to get them in front of as many eyes as possible. We’re always on the lookout for new reviewers so if you’d like to join the team and contribute book reviews get in touch! We aim to get at least two new book reviews onto the site and into our social groups every week so the more contributors and the more submissions we get the better.
Book Excerpts – What better way to show off your books than by sharing an excerpt! EPIC is always open to excerpt submissions from authors and as with everything else they are shared across our growing social network channels. Readers love to read a sneaky peek at a book before purchasing so it’s a great way to market and draw attention to your hard work.
Author Interviews – We love to hear from Indie authors and learn more about them, just like readers do! They’re easy to do too. Just use the site contact form to get in touch and request an interview and we’ll send you a set of questions for you to answer. Simple! Author interviews also get your book covers more coverage and we even include a sales link of your choice.
The Author Directory – We want EPIC to become the one stop hub for indie sci-fi and fantasy readers and to that end we have built the Author Directory. We list every indie author who submits website and with over 60 entries already we want it to grow even larger! It’s an excellent tool for readers too as it allows them to find brand new authors in their favourite genres. All we ask for in exchange for a listing is for you to make a link to EPIC on your website. Check it out HERE
The Book Release Calendar -Got a new book coming out? We’ve got you covered with the EPIC book release calendar. We want this to become THE place readers come too to discover what new titles are coming out. Each book release listed on the calendar also has a sales link included making it easy for a reader to purchase the title. Check it out HERE

It’s easy! Just click on the contact link in the top menu and fill in your information. We monitor the EPIC inbox everyday and will always strive to get back to you asap.
