EPIC NEWS MAY 2022 - Introducing the EPIC Author Directory and Merch store
At EPIC our goal is to connect indie fantasy and sci-fi authors with as many readers as possible. We don’t believe that only a handful of clique authors get to have their works promoted, no we believe that every indie author should be given an equal opportunity to get their work out there and seen.
The EPIC Author Directory
To this end, we have created the EPIC Author Directory. This directory lists dozens of websites of indie fantasy and sci-fi authors allowing readers to find the homes of their new favourite authors quickly and easily. By being all in one place we give authors the chance to attract new readers to their websites and hopefully to their books. Our ultimate goal is to make the directory the biggest on the internet and make it the go to place for readers to connect with authors.
If you’re an author and want us to put your site into the directory contact us using the contact page and tell us your sites web address and a little blurb about you and your site, ideally 50 words or less.
Readers, this directory is primarily for you! Use it to find and connect with new authors and their books. Alternatively, join our growing community on Facebook or give us a follow on Twitter.
EPIC Merchandise is now available!
Maintaining the website and funding the various promotions we run throughout the year is sadly not free and the EPIC founders pay for the hosting of the site and use of promotion services such as Book funnel from their own pocket. To support the running of the site and the plans we have for the future we have introduced a merchandise store hosted on Redbubble.
Get some T-shirts emblazoned with the EPIC logo or a nifty baseball cap.
What’s Next for EPIC?
Coming up in July we will be hosting a Summer Spectacular sale via Bookfunnel and all indie authors are welcome to participate. Further details will be announced on our social media channels and the Facebook group sometime in the coming weeks.
The more entrants we get the better the sale is for both authors and readers!
We’ve said in the Facebook group that once we reach the magic 500 members number, we will announce our next big plans for EPIC. Currently, we have 459 members so we’re getting there! I won’t reveal too much but let’s say it’s ambitious.
