EPIC Indie Joins SPSFC 2023 Judging Panel
We're excited to reveal that EPIC Indie is a judge for the upcoming Self Published Science Fiction Competition (SPSFC) 2023!
What is SPSFC?
The SPSFC, is an annual competition that provides a platform for self-published authors in the science fiction genre. It's an opportunity for these writers to showcase their works, and for readers to discover new and emerging voices within the industry.
What is EPIC doing?
EPIC Indie's role in this competition will be to read (a lot of books) and collaborate with other members of the judging panel in evaluating the submissions. Our team will be fair and judge each book by its merits. We’re excited to see what stories we get in our batch which will be revealed soon.
For participants, this means your works will be evaluated by our reviewers acting as judges, each bringing their unique perspective and understanding of the genre. The combined expertise promises a fair and thorough review of all entries.
Team member Charles Phipps is a sci-fi fanatic and is a great science fiction author himself so we have expertise on what makes a great read. As well as myself, book reviewer and Youtuber Kris Marcheschi, we’ll have Elizabeth Allen, Eryn McCee, Paul Lavendar and Rune S. Nielsen too!
To all the authors planning to participate, we wish you the best with your submissions. And for the readers and supporters of the SPSFC, stay tuned for updates and results from the competition.
Thank you for your continued support of indie science fiction, and here's to another successful year of the SPSFC!
