The gods above are not happy, everyone, and everything quakes under their wrathful glare. August, the newly made orphan, destitute and desperate, is forced into hiding as she is pursued by nefarious agents bent on her capture. Lydia May, a woman with a dark and mysterious past, ushers the girl to a new and very precarious place of sanctuary. Together the women must work to find answers amid the web of intrigues and conspiracies that beset their every move.
Meanwhile, Huni and Tober struggle to find their place amongst the fallout of the old collective hostilities. The boys find themselves set into a unique circumstance that may prove very beneficial, if they can only rally their wits, steel their collective courage, and do the various tasks which may pave the path to triumph.
As for Reelum Hangs ... well, that old vagabond has started to lose his already tenuous grip on the pitiful vestiges of his shattered psyche to spiral into true madness!
